Vicksburg firefighters and paramedics attend to a man injured Saturday afternoon in a three-vehicle crash on South Frontage Road in front of Goldie’s Trail Bar-B-Que. The man, whose identity was not available Saturday, was injured when a blue Acura SUV driven by a 16-year-old pulled out of the parking lot of Sears on South Frontage Road and struck the driver’s side of a westbound tan truck driven by Kristopher Pecanty, Vicksburg police officer Marquita Braxton said. The truck spun in the road, and the passenger side hit the man’s Harley Davidson motorcycle. No one else was injured in the crash. The man was taken by helicopter to University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.
