Perhaps this burglar used the Force.

Nearly 100 collectible Star Wars action figures were among the items they snatched from a home north of Vicksburg.

At 5:35 p.m. Sunday, 80 Star Wars were reported missing from a home in the 900 block of Culkin Road, according to Warren County sheriff’s records.

No value was listed for the figures, though prices in online listings for similar figures range from the low teens to upwards of $400 each.

Also reported missing from the home was a Coleman propane lantern and an Epson printer/scanner.

Fallen trees block roads

A storm front late Saturday night toppled trees in the eastern part of Warren County.

Trees and utility poles were knocked over between Levi’s and Interstate 20 on Mount Alban Road during the storm Saturday night, Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace said.

“Mount Alban Road was totally or partially blocked for the duration of the night,” he said.

At about 5:45 Sunday, a large tree fell across Jeff Davis Road, and traffic was rerouted into early this morning, Pace said.

County work crews used chainsaws and tractors to clear the tree.
