Who’s Hot: Charles Edmond

Alcorn State radio play-by-play announcer Charles Edmond, a Vicksburg resident, was named the Broadcaster of the Year at the 2024 HBCU Sports Awards show. The awards honored a number of athletes, administrators and others from across the spectrum of HBCU college athletics.

Edmond has been Alcorn State’s radio play-by-play announcer for football, basketball and other sports since 1991.
