ODDIE MAE WADLINGTON

Oddie Mae Wadlington died Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2000, at her home. She was 70.

Mrs. Wadlington was a member of Church of God in Christ, Holiness U.S.A.

She is survived by her husband, Evans Wadlington of Lorman; two sons, Donnell Newsome of Natchez and Brian Wadlington of Queens, N.Y.; three daughters, Irma Wadlington of Fort Worth, Harriet Wadlington of Charlotte, N.C. and Ruth Wadlington of Jackson; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and other relatives, including Lea Anna Taylor of Dearborn, Mich.

Services were at 1 p.m. Monday at Mount Olive Baptist Church in the Westside Community with the Rev. Elijah Brown officiating. Burial followed at Carbondale Cemetery.
