Arrows, Tigers to meet for title

The top two teams in the Associated Press poll will meet for the state championship on Friday.
No. 1 Clinton (14-0) trounced Starkville, 27-0, while second-ranked Moss Point downed Brandon, 26-12.
The Tigers (12-1) won three state championships in the 90s. Clinton will be playing for the school’s first state championship.
The Arrows rolled through Region 2-5A, while Moss Point suffered just one loss, a 28-23 setback to national power West Monroe.
The Class 5A title game will be at 7:30 Friday night in Jackson.
