HUBERT G. BOLLS
Hubert G. Bolls died Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2001, at Hospice Ministries Nursing Home. He was 55.
Mr. Bolls was a lifelong resident of Vicksburg. He was a dairy manager for A&P Grocery in Vicksburg for 24 years and for Kroger for nine years. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Hubert H. Bolls; and a daughter, Angela Bolls.
He is survived by his wife, Anne Blackmon Bolls of Vicksburg; a son, George Michael Bolls of Clinton; a daughter, Elizabeth Bolls of Vicksburg; his mother, Beth Bolls of Vicksburg; a brother, J.W. Bolls of Longview, Texas; a sister, Betsy Jean Gilcrease; and other relatives, including Ruby Blackmon of Vicksburg.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Glenwood Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Antioch Cemetery in Vicksburg.
Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Luke Mobley Sr., Curtis Brewer, Shane Miller, Mike Sullivan, Bill Downey and Bill Blackmon.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Paul Pierce, Dr. Steven Zachow, R.J. Beach. George Kennedy and members of Calvary Baptist Church.

ANDREW COSEY SR.
Services for Andrew “Brock” Cosey Sr. will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Mary’s Center with the Rev. Henry Mayfield officiating. Burial will follow at Glass Cemetery under the direction of Robbins Funeral Home. Visitation will be Saturday at the funeral home and until the service Sunday.
Mr. Cosey died Sunday, Feb. 25, 2001, at his home. He was 93.
He was a lifelong resident of Vicksburg and a member of Morning Star M.B. Church. He retired as a groundskeeper for the Vicksburg Country Club.
He was preceded in death by his wives, Cora Bell Cosey and Emma Reed Cosey; his parents, Andrew and Lucinda Cosey; three sons, including Donny Cosey; two daughters, including Linda Faye Griffin; four brothers, including Frank Cosey and Hamp Cosey; and a sister.
He is survived by seven sons, Erwin Cosey Sr., Earl Cosey Sr. and Robert Reed, all of Vicksburg, Andrew Cosey Jr. and Otis Cosey of Dowagiac, Mich., Robert Cosey of Natchez and Samuel Howard of Lima, Ohio; eight daughters, Linda Garrett, Barbara Burkley, Debra Hawkins and Rosalie Carter, all of Vicksburg, Agnes Bacon and Maybelle Hill of Dowagiac, Lucille Starks of Milwaukee and Dorothy Avance of South Bend, Ind.; grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other relatives including Juliette Howard, Patricia Simrall, Jimmy Simrall and Tommy Simrall.
ARGERTHA CURTIS DRAPER
EDWARDS Argertha Curtis Draper died Monday, Feb. 26, 2001, at her home in Edwards. She was 71.
Mrs. Draper was a lifelong resident of Edwards.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Watts.
She is survived by a daughter, Julie M. Kelly of Chicago; and five grandchildren, Stanley Draper, Valerie Draper, Terry Draper, Laytoa Kelly and Willie Kelly, all of Chicago.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Lakeover Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery in Edwards.
Visitation will be from 1 until 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home in Jackson.
WAYNE CARL POWELL
ROLLING FORK Wayne Carl Powell died Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2001, at University Medical Center in Jackson. He was 35.
Mr. Powell was a former resident of Rolling Fork.
He is survived by his mother, Lucille Powell of Rolling Fork; eight brothers, Patrick Powell and James Lee Washington, both of Rolling Fork, Lenard Powell of Vicksburg, Waymon Powell of Jackson, Willie Holmes of the Virgin Islands, David Holmes of Joliet, Ill., L.C. Holmes of Mound Bayou and Charles Konch of Houston, Texas; and six sisters, Debra Johnson and Betty Callocote, both of Chicago, Patricia Powell of Jackson, Alveria Smith and Velma Jordan, both of Everette, Wash., and Jackie Tubell of Vicksburg.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Mount Ollie M.B. Church in Egremont. Burial will follow at Dan Over Cemetery in Cary under the direction of Walker Funeral Home in Rolling Fork.
