Herbert Hughes of South Carolina points out the Old Court House Museum to his grandson, Manning Hughes, from the second deck of the American Queen docked at City Front Tuesday. Manning is spending his spring break riding along the Mississippi River with his grandparents. Hughes said he and his grandson planned to visit the Vicksburg National Military Park later Tuesday while his wife, Carrie Hughes, shopped downtown. Nearly 600 visitors from the American Queen, River Explorer barge tour and buses sent to Vicksburg from the American Orient Express train, which stopped in Jackson, toured Vicksburg Tuesday.
