ANNIE M. BELL CRAWLEY

Services for Annie M. Bell Crawley will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home with the Rev. Thomas Parker Sr. officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Crawley died Friday, July 20, 2001, at ParkView Regional Medical Center. She was 85.

Mrs. Crawley was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert Crawley; her parents, Thomas and Irene Bell Whitfield; and a brother, Isiah Bell.

She is survived by a brother, Jessie Bell, Sr., of Rolling Fork; a sister, Ethel Carson of Vicksburg; and others including Beatrice Bell, Julia M. Regan and the Regan family, all of Vicksburg and Patricia Bell Mack of Jackson.

ROBERT EUGENE JOHNSON SR.

PEARL Robert Eugene “Pee Wee” Johnson Sr. died Friday, July 20, 2001, in Houston, Texas. He was 45.

A former resident of Pearl, Mr. Johnson lived in Houston for the past five years. He was employed as a tankerman with Boone Towing Company in Channelview, Texas. He was a member of Park Place Baptist Church in Pearl.

He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Emily Johnson.

He is survived by his wife, Sue Boyette Johnson of Houston; three sons, Alan Johnson of Gibson City, Ill., and Robert E. “Bo” Johnson Jr. and David “D.J.” Johnson, both of Pearl; his daughter, Sommer Johnson of Pearl; his mother, Sue Edwards of Pearl; two brothers, Charles Johnson of Pearl and Jonathan Johnson of Vicksburg; his sister, Connie Kinley of Pearl; and two grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Central Independent Baptist Church in Pearl. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens under the direction of Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl.

Visitation will be from 6:30 until 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
