SOUTHERN HALLOWEEN

It was a Southern Halloween at the Southern Cultural Heritage Center Tuesday night. Top, from left, Tanner Jeffers, Kenya Wallace, Lindsay Pace and Barrett Taylor race with plastic eyeballs in spoons to the finish line. About 50 children came in costume for apple bobbing , candy, drawings, a costume contest and games. At bottom left, 4-year-old Raymond Wallace lifts his head after bobbing for apples, and Brianna Rushing, bottom right, can’t resist the last bite of her sucker as she participates in the costume contest.
