Vickie Crutchfield of Vicksburg and her daughter, Tiffany, try to pet one of the Budweiser Clydesdales on display Sunday at Peyton Distributing on U.S. 61 North. Southern Beverage Company sponsored the visit. The Budweiser Clydesdales, representatives of Anheuser-Busch for more than 68 years, must stand 6 feet at the shoulder when fully mature, weigh between 1,800 and 2,300 pounds, be bay in color, have four white stocking feet, a blaze of white on the face and a black mane and tail. The Budweiser Clydesdale hitch includes 10 horses, a red, white and gold beer wagon, two drivers and a Dalmatian.(The Vicksburg Post/MELANIE DUNCAN)
