ELLEN DUNN
Ellen Dunn died Friday, Dec. 21, 2001, at her home. She was 62.
Born in Darmstatd, Germany, Mrs. Dunn had lived in Vicksburg since 1966. She had been employed with McRae’s for eight years and had been a homemaker for the last 14 years.
She is survived by her husband, Glen Dunn of Vicksburg; her son, Robert Denny of Hawaii; her daughter, Ilona Beard of Vicksburg; her sister, Hilda Allgood of Louisiana; her brother, Georg Jung of Germany; and other relatives including Donna Richardson and Peggy Kelley, both of Louisiana.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Fisher-Riles Funeral Home with the Rev. Garnett Starnes, pastor of Bovina Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Green Acres Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Dale Cordes, Billy Brown, Tommy Beard, T.J. Beard, Ricky Nevels and Michael Nevels.

THELMA ROSS TAYLOR
Thelma Ross Taylor died Saturday, Dec. 22, 2001, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. She was 88.
Born in Utica, Mrs. Taylor lived in Vicksburg most of her life. She graduated from Hinds Junior College and taught in the Midway community in Claiborne County. She also worked as a licensed practical nurse at Mercy Hospital in Vicksburg.
She was a member of Midway Church of Christ, where she was a Sunday school teacher.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Taylor Sr.
Survivors include two sons, Richard C. Taylor Jr. of Vicksburg and Donald Ross Taylor of Finger, Tenn.; one daughter, Amy Jo Foote of Vicksburg; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Services were at 11 a.m. today at Glenwood Funeral Home in Vicksburg with Donnie Cain officiating. Burial followed at Cayuga Cemetery in Hinds County.
Pallbearers were Michael Taylor, Gary Taylor, Steve Taylor, Bruce Taylor, David Taylor, Christopher Foote and Jayson Foote.
