Banta said most people beginning her class say they have no natural talent at drawing. But it’s not all about talent, she said. “There is a method to drawing, and that is what we teach them here,” she said. The class lasts for four sessions, and the students begin by drawing basic shapes and end in drawing a portrait from a photograph.
