PATRICK NELSON FORBES
Patrick Nelson Forbes died this morning, May 1, 2002, at his home. He was 51.
Mr. Forbes was born in Columbia, Miss., but had lived in Warren County for many years. He was a self-employed carpenter.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Butler Forbes Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Kramer Forbes; his mother, Marguerite Jean Cotton Forbes of Columbia; a sister, Karla McDaniel of Columbia; three brothers, Thomas B. Forbes III of Boston and Michael Forbes and Jeffrey Forbes of Columbia; and an uncle, Gordon Cotton of Yokena.

EDWARDS Mary Annie Pugh died Tuesday, April 30, 2002, at her home in Edwards. She was 68.
Born in Yazoo County, Mrs. Pugh had lived in Vicksburg for several years. She was employed with Western Auto Stores for seven years and with F.W. Woolworth Stores for seven years. For the last 21 years, she had been employed as a waitress at Beechwood Restaurant.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hawkins W. and Alma Davis Boyd; and three brothers, H.W. Boyd, Henry Boyd and Jr. McCurdy.
She is survived by two daughters, Debbie Harris of Vicksburg and Louise Page of Edwards; three sisters, Trudy Harber and Willie M. Edmonds, both of Benton, and Leanora Jenkins of North Olmstead, Ohio; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Glen Thomas officiating. Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery in Benton.
Visitation will be from 5 until 8 tonight at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Larry Harber, Shane Bailey, Tony Bailey, Ed Holman, Charlie Lamar Edmonds and Michael Barber.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Warren County Sheriff’s Department, Martin Pace, Rocky and Judy Nosser and Haven and Betty Bruce.
