GRACE DEGGANS DUNHAM
WINNSBORO Grace Deggans Dunham died Saturday, June 8, 2002, at Franklin Parish Hospital in Winnsboro. She was 93.
Mrs. Dunham was born in Richland Parish and lived in Winnsboro.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Noble W. Dunham; her parents, William and Annie Deggans, and a grandson, John Keith Dunham.
She is survived by three sons, Fred Dunham of Baskin, La., Thomas E. Dunham of Clinton and Bobby F. Dunham of LaFayette, La.; two sisters, Rebecca Roberts of Baskin, La., and Frances Lyles of Mangham, La.; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Cox Funeral Home in Delhi with the Rev. Everett Geis officiating. Burial will be at Delhi Masonic Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Michael Dunham, Robert Dunham, Lesley Dunham, Scotty Traylor, Howard Evans and Jay McCallum.
Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Evans, Leonard Graham, Edward Roberts, Billy Lewis and Elyn Campbell Lyles.
ANNE ELIZABETH BLACK DUPREE EDWARDS
DELHI Anne Elizabeth Black Dupree Edwards died Sunday, June 9, 2002, at her home. She was 71.
Mrs. Edwards was born and reared in Franklin Parish, where she graduated from Central High School. She attended St. Francis Hospital Nursing School and received her licensed practical nurse degree. She was employed as a surgical nurse at Delhi Clinic. She and her mother were co-owners of the Delhi Fabric Shop. She was also involved in ownership and operation of the Waverly Gin and Elevator.
Mrs. Edwards was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Dupree Sr.; and her parents, Fred and Pauline Black.
She is survived by her husband, Dr. George Edwards; one son, John E. Dupree of Delhi; one daughter, Dorla Parker of Delhi; one brother, Charles A. Black of Delhi; one sister, Polly Goodman of Longview, Texas; two stepsons, Dr. Danny Edwards and Tommy Edwards; two stepdaughters, Karen Walters and Judy Jacobs; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and two step great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church of Delhi with the Rev. Marcus Murphy officiating. Burial will follow at the Masonic Cemetery.
Visitation will be at Cox Funeral Home from 5 to 9 tonight.
Pallbearers will be Shelton Parker III, Randy Parker, Jeffery Wooden, Billy Goodman, Allen Goodman, Nathan Nosser and Jon-Taylor Davis.
Honorary pallbearers will be doctors of the Delhi Clinic, Dr. Tom Weeks, Dr. David Fagan, Dr. Gene Ferris, Dr. Sam Scurria and Dr. Raymond Thertulien.
EDDIE L. GADDIS
BYRAM Eddie L. Gaddis died Saturday, June 8, 2002, at Rankin Medical Center in Brandon. He was 37.
Mr. Gaddis was a resident of Byram.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Marilyn and Billy Hicks of Byram; his father and stepmother, Dale and Frances Gaddis of Vicksburg; his fiancee, Kathy Sikes of Byram; his sister, Lynn Gaddis Dickerson of Vicksburg; a brother, Bo Gaddis of Terry; his grandmother, Gay H. Gaddis of Vicksburg; and other relatives.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home.

DOROTHY BURRIS ROBERTSON
GLOSTER Dorothy Burris Robertson died Saturday, June 8, 2002, at her daughter’s home in Nashville. She was 86.
Mrs. Robertson was a resident of Gloster. She retired as a school teacher in Amite County. She was a member of Berwick Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred. D. Robertson; her brother, Hubert M. Burris; and her parents, Lucius T. and Wilhelmina G. Burris.
She is survived by three sons, Dick Robertson of Raymond, Lee Robertson of Vicksburg and Bill Robertson of Baton Rouge, La.; one daughter, Laura Robertson of Nashville; two brothers, Harold Burris of Weir and Lionell Burris of Athens, Ala.; two sisters, Jeannette Causey of Gloster and Eileen Stokes of New Brockton, Ga.; and seven grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Brown Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Roseland Cemetery in Gloster.
Visitation will be from 5 until 9 tonight at Brown Funeral Home in Gloster and from 10 a.m. Tuesday until the service.
