BENJAMIN KELLY

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. Benjamin “June” Kelly died Sunday, Aug. 11, 2002, in Niagara Falls. He was 62.

Mr. Kelly was a native of Vicksburg and worked for Westinghouse for many years. He was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin Kelly and Willie Mae Kelly Thomas; three sisters, Mary Crochan, Willie Mae Jones and Earlene Terry; and three brothers, Arnold Kelly, C.L. Thomas and Freddie Thomas.

He is survived by his wife, Mae Kelly of Niagara Falls; two sons, Andre Kelly and Benjamin Kelly, both of Niagara Falls; three daughters, Nina Kelly, Gina Kelly and Angie Kelly, all of Niagara Falls; three sisters, Martha Somecone, Annie Bell, and Thelma Shelton, all of Niagara Falls; three brothers, Robert Kelly and Billy Ray Thomas, both of Vicksburg, and Danny Thomas of Niagara Falls; and other relatives.

Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in Niagara Falls.

Robbins Funeral Home has charge of local memorials.

WOODNEY M. ROSE

DOWNSVILLE, La. Woodney M. Rose died Sunday, Aug. 11, 2002, at his home. He was 86.

Mr. Rose was born is Savannah, Tenn. He was a retired construction worker for T.L. James. He was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by a son, Charles Woodney Rose; his parents, George and Gracie Rose; a brother, Enis Rose; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Eula Mae Rose of Downsville; five daughters, Barbara Lenard and Carolyn Walters, both of Downsville, Dianne McBroom of Vicksburg, Elaine Hayes of West Monroe, La., Kathy Rose of Lafayette, La.; one son, Dennis R. Rose of Rayville, La.; 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe with Tony Smith, Harold Spillers and Jeff Coleman officiating. Burial will follow at Downsville Cemetery in Downsville.

Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews.
