AILEEN S. GALLAWAY

Aileen S. Gallaway died Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2002, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. She was 88.

Mrs. Gallaway was born in Lincoln County. She was reared by her aunt and uncle, Beatrice and Solomon Causey, and had lived in Vicksburg for most her life. She was a former employee of the U.S. Corps of Engineers and Mercy Hospital, where she worked in the medical records department.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church and Joy Fellowship Class.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Percy Gallaway.

Survivors include two sons, Michael Gallaway of Benton and John Gallaway of Poughkeepsie, N.Y.; four grandchildren, Brian Scott Gallaway of Poughkeepsie, William Dean Gallaway of Omaha, Neb., Tifani Hankins of Vernon, Ala., and Kristi Moore of Vaughan; one great-granddaughter; and other relatives.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Green Acres Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. Saturday until the service at Glenwood Funeral Home.

MAURICE G. HARRIS

Services for Maurice G. Harris will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Shiloh M.B. Church. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 until 7 tonight at Williams Funeral Service.

Mr. Harris died Sunday, Sept. 29, 2002. He was 28.

Mr. Harris was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church and was employed with VicksMetal Co.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Harvey and Lillie Wardell.

He is survived by his fiancee, Felicia Brown of Vicksburg; his parents, Welton Wardell of New Orleans and Eunice Harris Jackson of Vicksburg; five brothers; two stepbrothers, Welton Hudson of Bolton and Welton Wardell Jr. of New Orleans; six sisters; three stepsisters, Lola Hudson of Jackson, Shannon Washington Ross of Vicksburg and Welteanna Wardell of New Orleans; his maternal grandparents, Joseph Harris and Lillie Harris, both of Vicksburg; and aunts, uncles, friends and other relatives.

REOLA MURPHY MARSHALL

Reola Murphy Marshall died today, Oct. 4, 2002, at River Region Medical Center. She was 69.

Mrs. Marshall was a member of Mount Olive No. 1 M.B. Church on Baldwin Ferry Road. She retired from Vicksburg Convalescent Home.

She is survived by her husband, Sellos Marshall Jr.; two sons, Larry Marshall and Carl Marshall, both of Vicksburg; a daughter, Clara Davis of Vicksburg; one brother, Arthur Murphy of Rosedale; one sister, Alberta Thomas of Greenville; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Dillon-Chisley Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

FAYE SESSIONS WOOTEN

Services for Faye Sessions Wooten will be at 2 today at Fisher Funeral Home with Reggie Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Green Acres Memorial Park.

Mrs. Wooten died Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2002, at River Region Medical Center. She was 62.

Mrs. Wooten was a native of Meridian and had lived most of her life in Vicksburg. She graduated in 1958 from Culkin Academy and worked at First Methodist Protestant Day Care for 11 years. She was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Benjamin Sessions, and a brother, Robert Earl Sessions.

Survivors include her husband, L.J. Wooten of Vicksburg; three sons, Terry Glenn Wooten, Tony Ray Wooten and Devery Mark Wooten, all of Vicksburg; one daughter, Kapri Darlene Sumrall of Vicksburg; her mother, Clarice B. Sessions of Vicksburg; a sister, Shirley Ann Miles of Rolling Fork; and nine grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Terry Wooten, Joseph Wooten, Jay Wooten, Justin Wooten, Mark Wooten, Blake Wooten, Jake Wooten, Dwayne Sumrall and Tiffany Sumrall.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Eugene Ferris, Dr. Paul W. Pierce III and the fourth floor staff members of River Region Medical Center.
