Pruden Lebrun
OAK GROVE, La. Pruden “Papa” Lebrun died Saturday, March 8, 2003, at West Carroll Memorial Hospital in Oak Grove. He was 81.
Mr. Lebrun was born in Pioneer, La., and lived in Oak Grove.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Sennie Lebrun; a daughter, Connie Diane Lebrun; eight brothers; three sisters and six grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Ruth Lebrun of Oak Grove; a daughter, Irene Carroll of Oak Grove; three sons, James Lebrun and Billy Lebrun, both of Oak Grove, and Douglas Lebrun of Chaudrant, La.; two sisters, Lula McAdams and Martha Jackson, both of Monroe, La.; 16 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Pioneer Assembly of God in Pioneer with the Rev. Annie Mae Farmer officiating. Burial will follow at Red Wing Cemetery in Oak Grove.
Visitation will be at the church until the time of the service.
Pallbearers will be Danny Coker, Ed Lebrun, Johnny Lebrun, Roger Robinson, Steve Miles, Wiley Lebrun, Jason Lebrun, Darrell Malone and Billy Lebrun.
Carie Eugenia Wadsworth
Carie Eugenia Wadsworth died Wednesday, March 5, 2003, at River Region Medical Center. She was 83.
Mrs. Wadsworth was a lifelong resident of Vicksburg and was an Avon representative most of her life. She was a member of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Wadsworth, and her parents, Nathan D. and Bessie Young Feibelman.
She is survived by her daughter, Bettie Valentine of Roswell, Ga.; two grandchildren, Michael Valentine of Tuscaloosa, Ala., and Kimberly Valentine of Roswell; and a great-grandchild, Jace Valentine of Tuscaloosa.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Cedar Hill Cemetery with Dr. Johnny Welborne, pastor of Warrenton Independent Baptist Church officiating. Visitation will be from noon until the hour of the service at Fisher Funeral Home.
