[6/25/03]Former Vicksburg High standout Kelsey Hudson hit a game-winning single that scored ex-Warren Central star Katie Barnett as the River City Renegades won the Traceway Invitational in Clinton.

The team, based in Vicksburg and consisting of players from around the state, has already qualified for the American Fastpitch Association national tournament in Beaumont, Texas, in July.

In the Traceway Invitational, the Renegades lost in pool play, then had to come back and win a pair of elimination games against the Starkville Dreams and the Gulf Coast Blitz. The win over Starkville was a 9-inning marathon.
