Henry Mitchell Sr.

EDWARDS Henry Mitchell Sr. died Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2003, at River Region Medical Center. He was 76.
A resident of Edwards, Mr. Mitchell was a member and deacon of St. Paul M.B. Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, True Love Mitchell; a daughter, Alma Mitchell Mack; two sisters; and a brother.
Survivors include nine daughters, Fannie Wilson, Annie Carter, Lesly Johnson and Mildred McFarland, all of Edwards, Elizabeth Thompson and Lovie Young, both of Jackson, Johnnie B. Torry of Saginaw, Mich., Arlean Walker of Chicago and Olevia Mitchell of Raymond; five sons, Jessie Mitchell and Henry Mitchell Jr., both of Edwards, Walter Mitchell of Jackson, Jerry Mitchell of Vicksburg and Leonard McFarland of Champaign, Ill.; a brother, Walter Mitchell of Chicago; a sister, Lesly Buchanan of Chicago; 40 grandchildren; 57 great-grandchildren; and other relatives.
Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Sunday at St. Paul M.B. Church in Edwards. Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Lakeview Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Margaret J. Nall
Margaret J. Nall died Thursday, Oct. 9, 2003, at Baptist Desoto Center in Southaven. She was 78.
A former Vicksburg resident, Mrs. Nall had lived Coldwater for the past 20 years. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Coldwater.
She is survived by a son, Richard Nall of Gautier; a daughter, Shelby J. Johnson of Vicksburg; one brother, Bill Haward of Coldwater; and other relatives.
Fisher Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
Betty Sue Pierce
Services for Betty Sue Pierce will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 until 8 tonight at the funeral home.
Miss Pierce died Thursday, Oct. 2, 2003, at River Region Medical Center. She was 47.
She had served as head cook at Goldie’s Trail Bar-B-Q.
Miss Pierce is survived by three daughters, Sharon Pierce and Tiawana Pierce, both of Vicksburg, and Georgina Pierce of Dallas, Texas; two sisters, Barbara Williams of New York City and Carrie Pierce of Vicksburg; three stepsisters, Irene Kenney, Hazel Scott and Keisha Smith, all of Vicksburg; five grandchildren; and other relatives and friends, including Marie H. Pierce, Leon Pierce, Martha Pierce-Robinson and Sandra J. Byrd, all of Vicksburg.
Richard James Prince
CLEVELAND, Ohio Services for Richard James Prince will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Greater Oak Grove M.B. Church with the Rev. Douglas Bryant officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 until 7 tonight at the funeral home.
Mr. Prince died Sunday, Oct. 5, 2003, at River Region Medical Center. He was 59.
Mr. Prince was a resident of Cleveland, Ohio. He was employed with Ford Motor Co. for 20 years and was a member of New Home Baptist Church in Cleveland.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mack and Mary Willis Prince; a son, Richard James Prince Jr.; and three brothers, Mack Prince Jr., William Prince and Charles Prince.
Survivors include his wife, Anne Harris Prince of Cleveland; two sons, Michael Prince and Darrell Prince, both of Cleveland; a daughter, Annette Jefferson of Cleveland; one brother, Alfred Prince of Jackson; three sisters, Mary Prince Wilborn and Beulah Prince Dickey, both of Ocean Springs, and Theresa Prince Rogers of Cleveland; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and other relatives, including Theresa P. Williams of Vicksburg.
