Joanie Marie McNease

OAK GROVE Joanie Marie McNease, infant daughter of George Arthur and Tanya Marie McNease of Oak Grove, died Sept. 5, 2003, at East Carroll Parish Hospital in Lake Providence, La.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by three brothers, George McNease, Henry McNease and Christopher McNease, all of Oak Grove; and grandparents, Gloria Peoples of Magee, Miss., Ray and Barbara Copes of Oak Grove, George and Virginia McNease of Tallulah and Michael Langley of Seminole, Texas.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Reeks Cemetery with the Rev. Keith Riley officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Oak Grove.

Pallbearers will be George McNease, Henry McNease, Ray “Bubba” Copes Jr. and Scotty Seamans.

Charles Louis Bellinger Pusser

Charles Louis Bellinger Pusser died today, Oct. 23, 2003, at Vicksburg Trace Haven Nursing Home. He was 50.

Born in Vicksburg, Mr. Pusser was the son of the late Jack and Alice Koch Bellinger. He was a member of Triumph Church.

Survivors include his wife, Sammie B. Pusser of Vicksburg; a stepson, Frank James Samule Busby of Vicksburg; a stepdaughter, Mary Evelyn Busby of Vicksburg; and other relatives.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Cedar Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Mike Fields, pastor of Triumph Church, officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Riles Funeral Home.

Leonard C. Rose

Leonard C. Rose, formerly of Vicksburg, died Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2003, at his home in Chicago. He was 74.

Mr. Rose attended St. Mary’s Catholic School and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. He was a veteran of the Army, serving in the Korean War.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jacqueline Robbins Rose; his daughter, Michelle Rose; and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Rose Sr.

He is survived by three sons, Anthony Abdullah-Nabawi and Darrell Rose, both of Chicago, and Kevin Rose of Everett, Wash.; one daughter, Patrice Rose of Vicksburg; three sisters, Gladys Harris and Florence Greenwood, both of Gary, and Alice Guest of Los Angeles; grandchildren; and nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Robbins Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
