James Love
Services for James Love will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Williams Funeral Service. Burial will follow at Cypress Garden Cemetery in Yazoo City.
Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Love died Friday, Dec. 19, 2003 at River Region Medical Center. He was 63.
He was a member of Issaquena Baptist Church in Yazoo City and was retired from GNB Battery.
He was preceded in death by his father, Estelle Love; his son, Perry Wade; and two brothers, Jimmy Love and Robert Love.
Mr. Love is survived by his mother, Georgia Love of Jackson; three sons, James Wade of Jackson, Jimmy Wade and Billy Joe Wade, both of Yazoo City; his daughter, Georgia A. Love Kemp of Vicksburg; two stepdaughters, Mary Judge and Shirley Cooper, both of Vicksburg; and two brothers, Willie Love and J.D. Love, both of Jackson.
Ernest Glen Yelverton
OAK GROVE Ernest Glen Yelverton died Monday, Dec. 22, 2003, at his home in Oak Grove. He was 52.
Mr. Yelverton is survived by his wife, Lisa Yelverton of Oak Grove; two sons, Bobby Yelverton and Andy Yelverton, both of Oak Grove; a daughter, Amy Street of Lake Providence; his mother, Ruth Yelverton of Oak Grove; a brother, Jack Yelverton of San Diego, Calif.; a sister, Judy Morrow of McCaskill, Ark.; and two granddaughters, Marissa Yelverton and Madison Yelverton, both of Oak Grove.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Cox Funeral Home in Oak Grove with the Rev. Keith Riley officiating. Burial will follow at Kilbourne Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mike Hamilton, Don Cupit, Ezra Beason, Joe McNeil, Craig McNeil and Johnny Kirksey.
Honorary pallbearers will be Carl Hinds, Tommy Sammons, Eric Stephens, J.R. Hamilton, Kerry Stewart and Carl Brumley.
