[05/04/04] Vicksburg and Warren Central’s chances at a Class 5A state golf championship were blown away Monday at Madison.

The Gators, who played again today, were 90 strokes off the lead, while the Vikings were 93 strokes behind leader Tupelo.

Vicksburg shot a 394, while WC shot a 397. Natchez, the other team from VHS and WC’s division, finished dead last in the 16-team field with a 412.
