Regena Carol Baucum

DELHI – Regena Carol Baucum died Saturday, April 30, 2005, at Glenwood Regional Medical Center. She was 82.

A native of Jasper County, Miss., Mrs. Baucum was a longtime resident of the Delhi area. She was a member of Delhi United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmo Baucum; her parents, Toby and Ethel Jordan Elkins; and a son, Dallas Baucum.

Survivors include a daughter, Anita Parker of Monroe; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Services were at 11 a.m. today at Faith Memorial Park Cemetery in Delhi with the Rev. Joe Hamilton officiating. Burial followed under the direction of Cox Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to Delhi United Methodist Church.

Michael Dallas Hodge

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Michael Dallas Hodge died Sunday, April 24, 2005, at his home in Charlotte, N.C. He was 23.

Mr. Hodge was born in Vicksburg.

He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Emma L. Hodge and Alva Meeks, and a grandfather, James H. Meeks.

He is survived by his parents, Sandy M. Hodge Jr. and Sandra M. Hodge, formerly of Vicksburg, of Texarkana, Texas; three sisters, LaSandra Hudson of Vicksburg, Sandra Joyce Hodge of Texarkana and Ida Denise Hodge of Little Rock, Ark.; a grandfather, Sandy M. Hodge Sr. of Chicago; and other relatives and friends.

Services will be at noon Tuesday at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from noon until 7 tonight and from 10 a.m. Tuesday until the service at the funeral home.

Ray Coleman Jordan Sr.

Ray Coleman Jordan Sr. died Saturday, April 30, 2005, at St. Dominic Memorial Hospital in Jackson. He was 71.

Mr. Jordan was born in Ashland. He was a resident of Vicksburg for more than 45 years. He spent 41 years in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He was self-employed with Jordan Refrigeration for 30 years. He was a member of the Woodlawn Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Effie Jordan, and four brothers.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy Wilkerson Jordan of Vicksburg; two sons, Coleman Jordan and Steve Jordan, both of Vicksburg; two daughters, Teresa Jordan and Donna Jordan Brown, both of Vicksburg; three sisters, Lee Jordan of Hickory Flat, Jessie Jordan of Indianapolis, Ind., and Sam Jordan of Ripley; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Kent Campbell officiating. Burial will follow at Green Acres Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be John Jordan, Ray Jordan III, Michael Jordan, Steve Jordan, Justin Brown, Wesley Brown and Richard Brown.

Trisha Ann Lynn

Trisha Ann Lynn died Thursday, April 28, 2005, at her home. She was 36.

Mrs. Lynn was born in Pensacola, Fla., and had lived in Vicksburg for the past 19 years. She was employed at West Coast Lumber Co.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Bill and Marie Sheff, and her paternal grandparents, Claffey and Marie Collins.

She is survived by her husband, Chuck Lynn of Vicksburg; a son, Michael Lynn of Vicksburg; two daughters, Alesia Marie Lynn and Laurin Lynn, both of Vicksburg; her father, Phil S. Collins of Aiken, S.C.; her mother, Ramona M. Bishop of Jackson; and three sisters, Kimberly Rees of Vicksburg, Ashley Adams of Aiken and Jennifer Corbett of Trenton, S.C.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Beard Cemetery. Burial will follow under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home.

Visitation will be at the funeral home from noon Tuesday until the service.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Lynn, Billy Lynn, Chris Lynn, Michael Lynn, Joe Lynn, Joseph Beard and A.J. Beard.

L.T. Moran

L.T. “Butch” Moran died Saturday, April 30, 2005, at St. Dominic Memorial Hospital in Jackson. He was 68.

Mr. Moran was a Vicksburg resident.

Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
