Ten golfers will be chasing a familiar foe when the Vicksburg Country Club Championships conclude today.

Bill Hassell shot a 75 on Saturday to go along with his 69 on Friday for a three-shot lead over Todd Boolos and defending champion Joe Lindigrin. Bill Grey is four shots back and Bob Houser is five shots back.

Larry Rocconi will lead the second group of five in the championship flight. He is six strokes behind Hassell. Lewis Decell and Jake Dornbusch are seven strokes off the lead, while Bill Caldwell, Randy Wright and Greg Clement are eight behind the leader.

At the Clear Creek Club Championships, Mickle Hayward shot a four-over par 76 and holds a two-stroke lead over Steve Brown, Alvin Taylor and Freddy Ford heading into today’s final round.

Tom Rosser shot a 70 during the senior club championships.

The Clear Creek championships will conclude this morning.
