Tashiba Marie Williams

Tashiba Marie Williams died Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2005, at River Region Medical Center. She was 24.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Harrison and Fannie Williams.

Survivors include her parents, Calvin Kidd Sr. of Milwaukee and Beatrice Williams of Vicksburg; one brother, Calvin Kidd Jr. of Milwaukee; two sisters, Jessica Williams of Vicksburg and Quneisha Kidd of Milwaukee; paternal grandparents, Annie Mae Horton of Vicksburg and Joseph Horton of Edwards; and other relatives including Fannie Williams of Vicksburg, an aunt who reared her.

W. H. Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

Jonathan Edward Mejias

TALLULAH – Jonathan Edward Mejias died at his home in Tallulah. He was 21.

Mr. Mejias was born in Monroe and had been employed at Advance Construction in the maintenance department.

He was preceded in death by his father, Guy Edward Dycus; and one brother, Ernest Edward Dycus.

Survivors include his mother, Rebecca Mejias Dycus of Kannapolis, N.C.; three brothers, Jerry Dycus of Alabama and Michael Mejias and Samuel Mejias, both of Sondheimer, La.; one sister, Sherri Jenkins of Tallulah; and his grandmother, Maria Mejias of Tallulah.

Memorial services will be at 2 today at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Magnuson officiating.
