Patsy Webb Douglas.
Patsy Webb Douglas, 62, of Vicksburg, died Sunday, June 18, 2006, at River Region Medical Center.
She was born in Grand Rapids, Mich., and moved to Leland, Miss., at an early age. She was a graduate of Leland High School. She moved to Vicksburg in 1978. She was employed at Mission Primary Care at the time of her death.
She was formerly employed by ParkView Medical Center and Mutual Credit Union. She was a former president of the Credit Professionals International of Mississippi and a member of the International Credit Association of Female Executives. She was a proud member of the Coca-Cola Club of Mobile, Ala.
Mrs. Douglas was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Eugene Douglas; her father, Robert Webb; and her mother, Hazel Webb Gottal.
She is survived by two sons and their families, Leland Scott and Kellye Lanford and their children, Amber, Whitney and Casey of Cleveland, Miss., and Kenneth Lee “Peanut” and Carol Lanford and their children, Brittany, Brianna and Brooklyn of Vicksburg; and one brother, John R. Webb of San Antonio, Texas.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 21, 2006, at Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. John Sanders officiating, with burial following at Green Acres Memorial Park.
Visitation is 5 until 7 tonight.
Pallbearers will be Paul Lanford, Justin Lanford, Michael Henry, Neal Hearn, Ronnie Jacks and Richard Manning.

Patricia Ann Brown Gaskin.
Patricia Ann “Sammie Lee” Brown Gaskin died Sunday, June 18, 2006, in Vicksburg. She was 57.
A homemaker, Mrs. Gaskin was a member of Christian Home M.B. Church No. 1.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Gaskin Jr.; and her parents, Robert Johnson and Mary Frances Elizabeth Brown.
Survivors include three sons, Michael Brown of Jackson, Willie Brown and Louis Gaskin III, both of Vicksburg; six daughters, Aretha Miller, Mary Pierce, Lois Gaskin, Pamela Gaskin, Patricia Gaskin and Carolyn Gaskin, all of Vicksburg; a brother, John Earl Brown of Vicksburg; a sister, Sarah Mace of Vicksburg; 16 grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
Kelley Elizabeth Humphreys.
JACKSON – Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday for Ms. Kelley Elizabeth Humphreys, 24, of Jackson, formerly of Hattiesburg, who died Sunday, June 18, 2006, as the result of an automobile accident in Jackson. Interment will be at Roseland Park Cemetery.
Ms. Humphreys attended Oak Grove Schools and graduated from Hattiesburg High School as an honor student. She attended the University of Southern Mississippi, where she was a member of Kappa Delta sorority and also a president’s list scholar. She received a nursing degree from Hinds Community College, where she was vice president of Phi Theta Kappa.
Kelley was presently employed by St. Dominic Hospital as a registered nurse on the Oncology Floor. She was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church in Hattiesburg.
Kelley was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Balmer and Dorothy Hill.
She is survived by her parents, Ray and Michelle Humphreys of Greenville; her paternal grandparents, Earl and Katie Humphreys of Hattiesburg; brother and sister-in-law, Dr. Chandler and Kim Humphreys of Madison; nephew, Brad Humphreys of Madison; aunts, Joy Mihalyka of Vicksburg and Elizabeth Minardi of East Longmeadow, Mass.; and uncle, Michael Humphreys of Shreveport, La.
Visitation will be at Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home in Hattiesburg from 5 until 8 tonight and beginning at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Main Street United Methodist Church.

Capt. Truman Mayfield.
Capt. Truman Mayfield died Sunday, June 18, 2006, at his daughter’s home in Vicksburg. He was 92.
Capt. Mayfield was a native of Caruthersville, Mo., and had lived in Vicksburg since 1966. He had worked on the river since he was 21 years old. He was pilot on the Pelican Riverboat in Helena, Ark., and had also worked for various barge lines. He worked for the Corps of Engineers for 26 years, retiring on the Motor Vessel Benyard. He was one of 10 in the United States to hold the All Gross towing pilot license.
Capt. Mayfield was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Marion Mayfield; a daughter, Mary Carolyn Lockamy; and a sister, Minnie Dennison.
Survivors include two daughters, Martha Lever of Atlanta and Trudy Hicks of Vicksburg; one nephew, James Bone of Texas; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Green Acres Memorial Park with the Rev. Billy Brumfield officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Franklin Hicks, Buddy Lockamy, Lonnie Allen, Jimmy Harrison and John Lever.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Calvin Masterson, skilled nurse practitioners of River Region West Campus and John Harris.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
Brandy Lorraine York.
TALLULAH – Brandy Lorraine York died Sunday, June 18, 2006, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. She was 23.
A native of Newellton, Mrs. York was a resident of Tallulah. She was a telemetry technician at River Region West Campus/Promise Specialty Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Wilma Wyatt.
She is survived by her husband, James M. York of Tallulah; two daughters, Hannah Claire York of Tallulah and Adele York of Vicksburg; her father, Lloyd W. Wyatt of Tallulah; her mother, Judy Carol Wyatt of Tallulah; three sisters, Tiffany Wyatt and Dulcie Gayle, both of Tallulah, and Shawna Young of Carthage, N.Y.; and grandparents, Walter Wyatt Sr., Robert Burgess and Jessie Burgess, all of Tallulah.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Glenwood Funeral Home of Vicksburg with the Rev. Cletus Moak officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah.
Visitation will be from 5 until 8 tonight at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Garner, Jammie Wyatt, Bennett Lee, John David Butler, Jeremy Purvis and James Grady.
Honorary pallbearers will be Capt. Shane Miller, Lt. Lee Williams, Pvt. Scott Johnston, Pvt. William Wienke, Pvt. James Goodwin and Pvt. Todd Black.
Memorials may be made to any charity benefiting victims of Hurricane Katrina.
