Elijah Jackson Sr.
ANGUILLA – Elijah Jackson Sr. died Saturday, July 22, 2006, at his home in Anguilla.
He is survived by his wife, Minnie Ola Jackson of Anguilla; five sons, C.L. Jackson and Jeremy Jackson, both of Rockford, Ill., Jermaine Jackson of Phoenix, Ariz., and Freddie Jackson and Clearance Jackson, both of Anguilla; six daughters, Doris Studivant, Betty Jackson, Christine Jackson, Willie M. Jackson, Lessly Jackson and Bobbie J. Jackson, all of Anguilla; three brothers, Leonard Jackson of Saxton, Mo., William Jackson of Rockford and Jerry Jackson of Jackson, Mich.; two sisters, Mary Lee Boose of Rockford and Mollie Redmon of Saxton; 42 grandchildren; and 69 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 until 7 tonight at Walker Funeral Home in Rolling Fork.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Christian Light M.B. Church in Anguilla with the Rev. R.C. Addison officiating. Burial will follow at Section Cemetery.

Services for Greg “Lorenzo” Jones will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at St. Mark M.B. Church with the Rev. Joseph Willis officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home.
Mr. Jones died Sunday, July 23, 2006, at River Region Medical Center as the result of a gun shot wound. He was 29.
Mr. Jones was employed at Moss Construction Company as a laborer. He was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Mary Lee Smith; paternal grandfather, J.D. Jones; and a brother, David “Peter” Burden.
He is survived by a daughter, Ashanti Shenice Sims of Vicksburg; his parents, Billy “Foot” Jones and Melvina “Honey” Jones, both of Vicksburg; two brothers, Raymond Meeks Jr. of Vicksburg and Billy Ray Burden of Sioux City, Iowa; a sister, Wanda Harris Boyd of Vicksburg; his maternal grandfather, Willie Smith of Vicksburg; his paternal grandmother, Willie Mae Smith of Vicksburg; his fiance, Shonda McCloud of Vicksburg; and other relatives, including Keshia Phillips of Vicksburg.

Bobby Darnell “Scholla” Toole died Tuesday, July 25, 2006, at River Region Medical Center. He was 35.
Mr. Toole owned Shut’em Down Urban Clothing Store. He also was an artist.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Henry and Millie Toole and Granison Sr. and Mary Lee.
Survivors include his parents, Bobby L. and Mary Toole of Vicksburg; his fiance, Melinda Newell of Vicksburg; a daughter, Vaniti Mathis of Saginaw, Mich.; one brother, Leslie Toole of Saginaw; one sister, Master Chief 1 Patricia Toole of the U.S. Navy in Bremerton, Wash.; nieces, a nephew and other relatives and friends.
Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
