James A. Horne.
James A. Horne died Friday, Aug. 18, 2006, at his home. He was 60.
Born in Binghamton, N.Y., Mr. Horne was a former resident of Columbia, S.C., and Palm Bay, Fla., and had lived in Vicksburg for the past five years. He was a graduate of St. Bonaventure University in New York.
Mr. Horne was a longtime cemeterian, having been associated with Green Acres Memorial Park for a number of years. He was a member of several professional cemetery associations and was of the Messianic faith. He served in the Marines in Vietnam.
He was preceded in death by his father, Andrew Horne; and a brother, Dennis Horne.
He is survived by his wife, Yolanda J. Horne of Vicksburg; one daughter, DeDe Horne of Binghamton; one stepdaughter, Vahlia Malone of Norristown, Pa.; his mother, Irene Horn
