Mary Ruth McNamara.
Mary Ruth McNamara died Friday, Nov. 17, 2006, at home. She was 83.
A longtime resident of Vicksburg, Mrs. McNamara was the daughter of the late Wallace C. DeRossette Sr. and Mary Ruth Bogie DeRossette. She attended St. Francis Xavier Academy.
Mrs. McNamara was a longtime volunteer in the development of the Catholic Schools of Vicksburg and was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick Joseph McNamara; a daughter, Patricia M. LeBlanc; a grandson, John Patrick Hebler; and two brothers, Wallace C. DeRossette Jr. and Robert DeRossette.
Mrs. McNamara is survived by five daughters, Shelly McNamara of Aliquippa, Penn., Maggie Husted and her husband, Bud, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Alice Hebler and her husband, Martin, of Vicksburg, Maureen Nichols and her husband, Steve, of Vicksburg and Laura Guillot and her husband, Mike, of Jefferson, La.; three sons, Mike McNamara and his wife, Sandy, of Clear Lake Shores, Texas, Pat McNamara of Jackson and Arthur McNamara and his wife, Kathy, of Chicago; 15 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Concetta DeRossette of Vicksburg.
A funeral Mass will be said at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Michael Catholic Church with the Rev. P.J. Curley, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday at Riles Funeral Home from 5 to 7 p.m. with prayer services at 6:30 p.m. A visitation will be at St. Michael Catholic Church from 10:30 a.m. Tuesday until the hour of the service.

Pallbearers will be grandsons Brian McNamara, Kevin McNamara, Matthew McNamara, Colt Nichols, Frank Husted, Joseph McNamara, Christian McNamara and John McNamara.
