Amanda Yevette DeVaul.
Amanda Yevette DeVaul died Sunday, Nov. 26, 2006, at her home in Vicksburg. She was 20.
Mrs. DeVaul was born in Natchez.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Helen Perkins and Putnam and JoAnn Jackson Smith.
She is survived by her mother, Corine Smith DeVaul of Vicksburg; her father, Larry L. Perkins of Brookhaven; her grandfather, Moyese Perkins of Liberty; three sisters, Yolanda Anderson and Dianna Anderson, both of Meadville, and Latasha Johnson of Vicksburg; and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Mount Olive M.B. Church in Kirby, Miss. Burial will follow at Mount Olive/Baldwin Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon until 5 p.m. Friday at Marshall Funeral Home in Bude and Saturday at the church from 12:30 p.m. until the service.
Marvin Donnell Minor.
TILLMAN, Miss. – Marvin Donnell Minor died Saturday, Nov. 25, 2006, at his home in Tillman, near Port Gibson. He was 49.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Tillman Chapel Christian Church. Burial will follow at Natchez National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 until 5 tonight at Westhaven Funeral Home in Utica.
Michael Dewayne Simpson.
Services for Michael Dewayne “Migeal” Simpson will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Kings Community Empowerment Center with the Rev. Larry A. Nicks officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon until 7 p.m. Friday at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home with family hour from 6 until 7.
Mr. Simpson died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2006, at his home. He was 34.
Mr. Simpson was born in Monroe, La. He was a member of Triumph M.B. Church in Kings. He was employed for 10 years as a supervisor with Horizon Casino and the former Harrah’s Casino.
He was preceded in death by his father, Johnnie Simpson Jr.; his grandmother, Rosie A. Scott; and his grandfathers, Frank J. Scott and Johnnie Simpson Sr.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Dyanna and Mack Jenkins of Vicksburg; four sisters, Montic Washington, Dorothy Jenkins and Maxine Simpson, all of Vicksburg, and Belinda Glasper of Marietta, Ga.; two brothers, Mack Simpson of Vicksburg and Johnnie Simpson III of Lake Providence; a stepbrother, Clarence Lovett of Vicksburg; and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends, including Brelyn Gross, Marcus Harvey, Victor Gilliam, Lisa White and Althea Moffett, all of Vicksburg.

OZARK, Mo. – Services for Candice LeeAnn Sharp White will be at 2 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church in Tallulah with the Rev. John W. Rushing officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 until 8 tonight at the church.
Mrs. White died in Ozark, Mo., at her home. She was 25.
Born in Delhi, Mrs. White grew up in Tallulah where she graduated from Tallulah High School. She was a child-entertainment receptionist.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Elizabeth Williams; and her grandfather, Hardin T. Sharp.
She is survived by her husband, James Edward White III of Ozark; a son, Braxton Wade White of Ozark; her father, Alvin Joey Sharp of Tallulah; her mother, Mary Elizabeth Mullen and stepfather, Perry N. Mullen of Tallulah; four stepsisters, Alicia Hodge of Tallulah, Robin Linder, Kasey Linder and Lindsey Linder, all of West Monroe; four stepbrothers, Bobby Smith of Sardis, Michael Coody of Tallulah, Ricky Hendrick and Nicholas Linder, both of West Monroe; maternal grandparents, Barbara and William Stovall of Cherokee Village, Ark.; paternal grandmother, Wanda Sharp of Etowah, Ark.; and nieces, aunts and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Brad Stovall, Kendall Stoval, Rodney Stovall, Rick Hendricks, Nicholas Linder and Hulon Martin.
