Leonard W. Davies

RAPID CITY, S.D. – Leonard W. Davies died Sunday, July 27, 2008, at the V.A. Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minn. He was 89.

Mr. Davies was a resident of Rapid City, S.D.

He is survived by his wife, Theresa Davies of Rapid City; four daughters, Romona Esquival and Mary Davies, both of Rapid City, Alyce Alesandro of St. Paul, Minn., and Nonie Johns-Holman of Vicksburg; three sisters, Beverly Otteson of Rapid City, Norma Gardner of Oxnard, Calif., and Lois Salem of Roseville, Mich.; two brothers, Darrell Davies of Rapid City and Eldon Davies of Sahuarita, Ariz.; and five grandchildren.

Services will be Wednesday at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home in Rapid City with the Rev. William Zandri officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Black Hills National Cemetery in Sturgis, S.D.
