Charlene Nicole Thompson of Brandon, bride-elect of Justin Warren Barnette of Pearl, announces their wedding plans for 4 p.m. Sept. 20, 2008, at St. Jude Catholic Church in Pearl. A reception will follow at Luckett Lodge in Brandon. All relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Miss Thompson is the daughter of Patricia Thompson and Scott Thompson Sr., both of Brandon.

Mr. Barnette is the son of Terry and Angela Barnette of Flowood.

The Rev. Gerald Hurley will officiate at the ceremony. The bride will be given in marriage by her father.

Maid of honor will be Christy Palmer of Brandon. Bridesmaids will be Ashley Underwood of Ridgeland and Jennifer Thompson, Kasey Ford and Laura Hearn Polk, all of Brandon.

The groom’s father will serve as best man. Groomsmen will be Johnathan Wilkinson of Vicksburg and John Burt, John Coghlan and Jonathan McCardle, all of Pearl.

Ushers will be Scott Thompson Jr. of Brandon and Blake Barnette of Flowood.
