SIGN ON FOR VCC

The new signboard in front of the Vicksburg Convention Center, west of Washington Street on Mulberry, is lighted with the computer-generated temperature and advertising for the VCC Saturday afternoon. Installation of the 26-foot sign was completed early this month, and messaging began last week. The purpose of the sign, which required approval of City of Vicksburg officials because of its height, is to help direct drivers to the 50,000-square-foot exhibition hall and meeting rooms on two floors. At right is the Warren County-Vicksburg Public Library. (Suzanne Feliciano*The Vicksburg Post)
