Christine Lovorn Windham

ROLLING FORK — Christine Lovorn Windham died Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2008, at University Medical Center in Jackson. She was 92.
A native of Leake County, Mrs. Windham lived in Issaquena County for a number of years. She was a member of Rolling Fork United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Pearson Windham; a son, Don Windham; her parents, Jack and Audrey Lovorn; three brothers, Marvin Lovorn, Bernard Lovorn and Hayward Lovorn; and a sister, Waudine Lovorn Grubbs.
Survivors include two sons, Gene Windham and wife Ann of Kosciusko and Glen Windham and wife Jane of Rolling Fork; one daughter, Linda Windham Frazier of Kosciusko; a daughter-in-law, Angeline Windham of Rolling Fork; and eight grandchildren, Steve Windham and wife Veronica and their sons, Cole and Conner, Waye Windham and wife Katie and their children, Don, Harlie and Beth, Amelia Howell and husband Chris and their daughter, Farrah Kate, Stephanie Love and husband Clark and their children, John Clark and Caroline, Debbie James and husband Lee and their son, Frazier, Pearson Colvin and wife Ashley and their sons, Pearson and John, and Grey Windham and Jordan Windham.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Rolling Fork United Methodist Church with the Rev. Beth Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Mound Cemetery in Rolling Fork. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 tonight at Glenwood Funeral Home in Rolling Fork and from 10 a.m. until the hour of the service at the church.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Corban, Ern Black, Paul Hollis, Lee Lawler, Jim Newman, Bobby Blackley, Penley Sorrels and Gene Boykin.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Grant, Roy Ross, Kim Choate, Dr. Danny Jackson and Dr. Mehar C. Oad.
