Ruth H. Dunlap

CHICAGO — Ruth H. Dunlap died Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2008, at Jackson Park Hospital in Chicago. She was 81.
Mrs. Dunlap was a retired school teacher with the Vicksburg Warren School District. She was a member of Fountain Chapel Church of Fayette, the Retired Teachers Association and the American Legion Tyner Post No. 213 Ladies Auxiliary. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in economics and a master’s degree in history and economics, both from Alcorn State University.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Hall and Rosie Nell Fountain; and three brothers, Percy Hall, Emanuel Hall and Rudolph Hall.
Survivors include a brother, Alvin Hall of Houston; a sister, Sarah Jackson of Chicago; and other relatives and friends, including Muriel Jackson, Diane Toran and Carmen Sallay, all of Chicago.
Williams Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
