Virginia Williams Furr

DELHI, La. — Virginia Williams Furr died Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2008 at Richland Parish Hospital. She was 84.

Mrs. Furr was born in Steelville, Mo., and had lived most of her life in Louisiana. She was a needle- worker and operated a needle-work shop. She was a member of the Presbyterian faith.

Survivors include her daughter, Mary V. Furr of Waverly, La.; a brother, Dr. John C. Williams of Vicksburg; and a nephew, niece and two great-nephews.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah with the Rev. Paul Lipe officiating. Visitation will be from 1 until the service at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah.
