Paul Gordon Rather, infant son of Naomi Nicole Rather of Vicksburg, died Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2008, at River Region Medical Center.

He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents, Wilburn Ellis Rather and Annie Lou Rather; and his maternal great-grandfather, Marshall T. Davidson.

In addition to his mother, the baby is survived by three brothers, Kaleb Allen Rather of Vicksburg and Joshua Glen Cousins Jr. and Ryan Jacob Cousins, both of Oklahoma; his maternal grandmother and stepgrandfather, Sheila Marie and Mark Randell Friley of Vicksburg; his maternal grandfather, Gordon Stevie Rather of Yazoo City; and his maternal great-grandmother, Mary A. Davidson of Ozark, Md.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Burial will follow under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home. Visitation will be at the funeral home Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the service.
