Roger and Rhonda Cresswell of Vicksburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Ellen Elizabeth, to Joshua Matthew Harris. Mr. Harris is the son of Johnie and Kathy Harris of Haleyville, Ala.

Miss Cresswell is the granddaughter of Jimmy and Ann Cresswell of Bentonia and James E. Lea of Knob Noster, Mo.

Mr. Harris is the grandson of Ella Wallace of Haleyville.

The bride-elect is a 2003 home-school graduate. She is a receptionist at Mission Primary Care.

The prospective groom is a 2003 graduate of Brilliant High School and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology from Huntingdon College.

He is a lab technician at Bunge/Ergon.

The wedding will be at 7 p.m. April 17, 2009, at Berachah Church. A reception will follow at The Baldwin House. All relatives and friends are invited to attend.
