American Legion chief to speak in Vicksburg

David K. Rehbein, the national commander of the American Legion, will speak during a luncheon in Vicksburg Tuesday.
The 11 a.m. event is hosted by American Legion Post No. 213, 1618 Main St., and is for its members, as well as those of Post No. 3.
Rehbein has served more than 30 years as a member of Post No. 37 in Ames, Iowa. He has served in local and state positions and was appointed to the Iowa Commission on Veterans Affairs. Rehbein served on the National Americanism Commission from 1989 to 1999.
