Ryan Patrick Petersen and Nicole Amber Johnson were married at 10 a.m. Feb. 7, 2009, at French Quarter Wedding Chapel in New Orleans. The Rev. Anthony Talavera officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Michael Koziol of Illinois and Barbara Whaley of Mississippi. She is the granddaughter of Ed and Erma Koziol of Mexico Beach, Fla.

The groom is the son of Patrick and Sharon Petersen of Bartlett, Ill. He is the grandson of Helen and John Yanik of Hanover Park., Ill.

The bride’s chosen colors were red and white.

Maid of honor was Sharon Petersen of Bartlett. Patrick Petersen of Bartlett served as best man.

A reception followed the ceremony.

For a wedding trip, the couple traveled to Mexico.

They will make their home in Vicksburg, where the groom is employed at Reliable Motors.
