Business portfolio|IP names manager for pulp business

International Paper’s Vicksburg mill has named Steve Smith as the process manager instrument/electrician for the Pulp Business Unit.
Smith has been with the company for 14 years serving in various roles in Vicksburg and at the Louisiana Mill in Bastrop.
He and his wife, Krystal, have two children.
Ameristar employees win big prizes
Ameristar Casino in Vicksburg recognized six employees during the annual Team Member of the Year Banquet Feb. 24.
Christopher Green, associate system analyst, was chosen as Team Member of the Year and given a Toyota Avalon with all taxes and fees paid by the company.
Cheryl Roland, dealer, and Cornelius Early, banquet houseman, were runners-up and each received $5,000.
Terrance Davis, buffet busser and stocker, was chosen as part-time Team Member of the Year and also received $5,000.
Ana Mari Clark, administration manager, was chosen as Team Leader of the Year, and Paul Burke, vice president of Casino Operations, received the General Manager’s Award. Clark and Burke each won a paid vacation to the destination of his or her choice and an extra week of paid time off and spending money.
