PORT GIBSON — Charlotte F. Truitt died Friday, March 20, 2009, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. She was 58.

Mrs. Truitt is survived by five sons, Tyrone Truitt and Shawn Truitt, both of Port Gibson, Guewon Truitt of Hermanville, Meka Truitt of Carlisle and Terrance Truitt of Oklahoma City, Okla.; two daughters, Linda Truitt of Port Gibson and Brenda Truitt of Oklahoma City; two sisters, Josephine Smith of Arlington, Texas, and Rosie Edwards of Midwest City, Okla.; 15 grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at New Christian Fellowship Church with the Rev. Randy Burge officiating. Burial will follow at Thompson Memorial Garden Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 until 6 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Port Gibson and Friday at the church from noon until the service.
