The engagement of Roshandra Monicé Tillman to Davon Rozelle McGloster, both of Vicksburg, is announced today. Vows will be exchanged at 3 p.m. June 6, 2009, at the Vicksburg Convention Center. A reception will follow. All relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Miss Tillman is the daughter of Freddie Sr. and Linda Tillman Fletcher of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of Rosielee Tillman of Vicksburg.

Mr. McGloster is the son of Barbara Shelby and the late Clarence McGloster of Vicksburg. He is the grandson of the late Rosie and Sherman Shelby and the late Jessie and Lizzie McGloster of Vicksburg.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Vicksburg High School, where she was a member of the Science Cub, History Club and Who’s Who Among High School Students. She was a Gator Girl, chosen class maid for three years and served as class officer for four years. 

She graduated with honors from Tougaloo College, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics. She was a member of the Eaglet dance team and Economics Club.

Miss Tillman is an auditor for Lockheed Martin.

The prospective groom is a graduate of Warren Central High School, where he was a member of the Student Council, FTA and football and track teams.

He attended Hinds Community College.

Mr. McGloster is employed at International Paper.
