Mr. and Mrs. Francis David Harpole of Edwards announce the engagement of their daughter, Marianna, to James Thomas Hilbun III. Mr. Hilbun is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Thomas Hilbun Jr. of Vicksburg.

Miss Harpole is the granddaughter of Esther Hunt Smith and the late Fred Day Smith of McComb and the late Lucille Noble Harpole of Edwards.

Mr. Hilbun is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. James Thomas Hilbun Sr. of Vicksburg and Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Towell of Norwood, Mo.

The bride-elect is a 2004 graduate of Warren Central. She is employed at Woman’s Clinic of Jackson.

The prospective groom is a homeschool graduate. He is employed with Gatchell Construction.

Vows will be exchanged at 5:30 p.m. May 16, 2009, at Edwards Presbyterian Church. A reception will follow at PineHeart in Bolton.
