The Mississippi College Singers will present a spring concert at 7 tonight at Northside Baptist Church, 1475 E. Northside Drive, Clinton.
David Reed of Clinton will conduct the choir. The concert is free.

* Vicksburg National Military Park field trip — 7:30 a.m.; led by Bruce Reid of the Audubon Society office in Vicksburg; meet at park Visitors Center; bring lunch, water, snacks; entrance fee: $8 per vehicle.
* Family Bird Walk — 8 a.m. at LeFleur’s Bluff State Park in Jackson; entrance fee: $3 per vehicle; children younger than 15 must be accompanied by adult.
City native to teach digital photos course
Vicksburg native and professional photographer Camilla Calnan will present basic digital photography workshop from 5:30-7 p.m. May 19 and 21 at the Old Court House Museum.
Participants are asked to bring a digital camera.
Calnan is a 1997 St. Aloysius High School graduate who has a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Asheville, where she lives and works.
Blue Barn to do play by Port Gibson resident
The Blue Barn Theatre in Port Gibson will present “The Tale of the Talented Cat” at 7 p.m. Friday, Saturday and May 3.
The play is written by Mary Ellis, president and CEO of Theatre Plus in Port Gibson.
Tickets are $5 for adults and $2 for those younger than 18. The theater is located at 1001 E.P. Spencer Drive.

Clinton Nature Center announces May events
The Clinton Community Nature Center announced programs in May. All will be at Price Hall — except Tracks on the Trace, which will be held on the trails of the nature center, 617 Dunton Road. * 7 p.m. May 21 — Adventures in Kenya with narration by Mary Stevens and Bill Stripling on their trip to Africa.
* 10 a.m. May 30 — Hummingbirds Up-Close.
