Tommy L. Honeycutt Sr.

TALLULAH — Tommy L. Honeycutt Sr. died Monday, May 4, 2009, at St. Francis North Hospital in Monroe. He was 69.
Mr. Honeycutt was born in Richmond County, N.C., where he lived most of his life. He was a Tallulah resident for five years. He was a retired mechanic and a member of Maple Street Baptist Church of Rockingham, N.C.
Survivors include his wife, Obera Sandifer Honeycutt of Monroe; five sons, Billy Honeycutt of Ridgeville, S.C., Roger Honeycutt of Pensacola, Fla., Lynn Honeycutt of Monroe, Mark Honeycutt of Calhoun, La., and Tommy Honeycutt Jr. of Rockingham; two daughters, Vicki Stubbs of Greenville, S.C., and Gwen Honeycutt of Monroe; two sisters, Tiny Parker of Cordova, N.C., and Francis Keziah of Wilmington, N.C.; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. John W. Rushing officiating. Burial will follow at Herringville Baptist Church Cemetery in Monticello, La. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 1 until the service.
Pallbearers will be Todd Beene, Donnie Holloway, Sonny Muse, Kevin Collins, Bo Skipper and Randy Downing.
