Fred Kimble

WESSON — Fred “Hap” Kimble died Wednesday, May 6, 2009, at St. Dominic Memorial Hospital in Jackson. He was 70.

A Brookhaven native, Mr. Kimble was a pipeline welder.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Red Star Ward.

He was preceded in death by his father, Samuel Alfred Kimble; and a brother, Alfred Kimble Jr.

Survivors include his wife, Deola Kimble of Wesson; his mother, Mary Louise Kimble of Wesson; two sons, Sammy Kimble and wife Anna and Steven Kimble and wife Melinda, all of Brookhaven; one brother, Edwin Kimble and wife Jean of Vicksburg; and seven grandchildren, Kelsey, Brett, Jackson, Shelby, Heidi, Olivia and Christopher.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Red Star Ward. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 9 tonight at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Natchez Drive and Saturday at the church from 9 a.m. until the service.
