Martha A. Tyler died Friday, May 15, 2009, at her home. She was 72.

Born in Hagerstown, Md., she was the daughter of the late Roy Sherman Baker and Cora May Patton Baker. She had been a resident of Vicksburg since 1975 and was a member of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by four brothers.

She is survived by her daughter, Regina Jeffers of Vicksburg; a brother, Roger Baker of Hagerstown; and three grandchildren.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Cedar Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Terry White, pastor of Bowmar Baptist Church, officiating. Visitation will be at Riles Funeral Home from 1 p.m. Wednesday until the service.
