Brenda McBride tries to remove her line from a turtle Wednesday as she and her husband, Willard, fish on Blue Lake off Belva Drive. A friend allows them to fish on the private lake. McBride likes to fish after he works the night shift. The fish make good eating as long as “he does the cooking,” Brenda McBride said.
