McGloster to wed Moody

The engagement of Katrina Nicole Jones McGloster to Semiko Bredell Moody of McLain, Miss., is announced today. Vows will be exchanged at 3 p.m. July 18, 2009, at Zion Traveler Church, 1701 Poplar St. A reception will follow at Vicksburg City Auditorium. All relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Miss McGloster is the daughter of Michael and Michelle McGloster of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of Jimmy Jones and the late Flossie Jones, Mary McGloster, Malcolm and Mary Gaines and Louise Blake, all of Vicksburg.
Mr. Moody is the son of David and Catherine Moody of McLain. He is the grandson of the late Frank and Fanny Moody of McLain and the late Walter and Lucille Carter of Waynesboro.
The bride-elect is a 2002 graduate of Vicksburg High School, where she served as Gator Girl captain and was a member of the National Honor Society and JROTC.
She received a Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science from the University of Southern Mississippi and a physical therapy assistant degree from Pearl River Community College.
She was a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc.
Miss McGloster is a physical therapy assistant at Visions Physical Therapy in Jackson.
The prospective groom is a 2002 graduate of Greene County High School, where he served as class vice president and was an All-American Scholar.
He received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of Southern Mississippi, where he was a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc.
Mr. Moody is a carpenter for Cajun Construction in Baton Rouge.
